   DESCRIPTION


Exchange Server which is also known as Microsoft Exchange Server is a widely used Mail Server, Contact Manager and Calendaring Software developed by Microsoft Corporation. It enables small and medium-sized companies to achieve greater reliability and improved performance by simplifying administration tasks such as creating distribution lists, sending email messages, automatically performing voicemail transcriptions, providing message delivery reports and archiving mailboxes. It uses a proprietary protocol called MAPI. It is licensed both in forms of on- premises software and software as a service.
